When you stay at The Little Gypsy, do whatever you need or want to do
Sleep in, relax, eat, read, curl up by the fire, write poetry. Let me make you afternoon tea and you can relax in the courtyard or under the grapevine
There are local bush walks or the beach is only at end of the road two minutes walk away. It is a tidal rocky shore rather than a wavy surf type beach. You can go crystal hunting on the beach and I can make you a thermos so you can sit on the beach and watch delightful sunsets.
Swim. There are several swimming spots located nearby – estuary and river.
Things to do in the area:
Thames is only ten minutes drive away. There are markets (Saturday morning), great op shops, vintage shops, craft shops, a movie theatre, as well as many good cafes, restaurants and historical sites. Have coffee at the local café 2.5km at Waiomu, drive along the coast – it’s got excellent Facebook reviews. Coromandel Township is approx 50min drive from Te Puru if you want to use your stay as a base to explore the Coromandel.
