VIRTUAL Women’s Writing Weekend 2021
September 3 – September 5 2021

Given that we are currently in lockdown and our expectation is that we will likely be so still by the first weekend in September when the Writing Weekend is scheduled, or maybe in Level 3, we realize we cannot hold this at Te Wahi Ora.

But we want to ensure you have the opportunity to fulfill your desire to be part of a Writing Weekend and will provide it using zoom for us to connect as a group over three sessions.

Virtual Writing Weekend:

SATURDAY, 3rd September

10AM-11AM 1st opening meeting

4PM-5PM  2nd meeting

SUNDAY, 4th September

10AM-12AM Closing session

We will begin each session with a brief guided meditation to bring us altogether and enable us to be present to our creativity, our inspiration and reflections.  Hilary will lead the session focusing on your writing and encouraging you to put aside at least an hour and a half each of the two days, for your own writing.

The fee for this is only $45 per person and we will broaden the availability of this to others who haven’t registered for the weekend.  Please register with Te Wahi Ora and I look forward to meeting you on zoom. Dace will assist everyone with setting up Zoom if you are concerned about technical aspects.

There will be an alternative weekend for you to come and enjoy a full retreat experience at Piha if you are able to make the necessary alternative arrangements, (so sorry about this inconvenience!)

October 15th – 17th (Friday dinner time to Sunday afternoon)

To book, please email to See you on Zoom!

Cost is normal weekend prices plus $30 each day as a Koha to Hilary for her amazing facilitation of our Writing Weekends
