Coming Home: Connecting with yourself through nature.
This year we are happy to be able to offer two of our popular Nature Immersion Weekends, facilitated by qualified Naturopath and Medical Herbalist: Susan / Shoshana. Susan is passionate about sharing her valuable tools and skills that support the physical, mental and emotional health & wellbeing of yourself and your loved ones.
When: 20-22 February 2026 and 6-8 November 2026

Together we will explore authentic connection with ourselves, each other and Nature through explorative exercises, guided nature walks and meditation, conscious movement, sacred ritual and creative self-expression.
“This weekend is inspired by Joanna Macy’s “Work that Reconnects” which reminds us of our deep interconnectedness with all of life and invites us to discover the particular gifts we bring to the healing and transformation of our world while empowering us to act with clarity, love and direction.” (Susan / Shoshana)
The exact schedule is yet to be confirmed as some activities are weather dependent and Susan will also respond to the wants and needs of the group that attends. The following activities may be included:
- Bush walk with guided forest meditation
- Authentic connection & empowerment exercises: Joanna Macy’s “The Work that Reconnects”
- Authentic movement / Conscious Dance
- Creating Nature Art together
- Rituals & ceremony in and with Nature
- Sound Healing
- Qi Gong at the beach
- Mindful movement and self-compassion practices
- Time for integration, reflection and connection with self & nature
There will also be plenty of time to unwind and relax in the beautiful natural surroundings of Piha and make the most of the the grounding presence Piha offers our guests. Magic happens when we share kai/food. Enjoy the nutritious and delicious meals provided as part of your stay at Te Wahi Ora and recharge in the connection with like-minded women.
Join us for a transformative journey to deepen your connection with yourself, your community, and with all of life through connection with Mother Earth / Nature.
